I will dearly miss Aunt Kay and will fondly remember my last few visits, in relation to coming to Detroit to visit my Mom. Aunt Kay was a gracious and stately Lady, who also had a very gentle side. At age 9-10, I remember waking up to her presence at our home on Wilfred, because my maternal grandfather had died during the night. She was a very caring and loving caretaker for Joanne and me that day. She was very devoted to family, and I recall her help with the "St Joseph Celebrations" that Grandma Rose would have every year to commemorate my Father Angelo's survival of severe illness in infancy. Aunt Kay was always the dependable relative for family fun also, being the 1st family to arrive at Grosse Pointe Park early in the AM on 4th of July, to save a space in a shaded area of the park for everyone else to join the party throughout the day. She was a devoted daughter to her parents and a caring sister to her 4 brothers, especially to my Dad. I am sure that there is a special place in Heaven for this exemplary woman. Love, Jim
