Vito Raffaele Fiore

Vito Raffaele Fiore (82) of Roseville went to be with the Lord Saturday, May 27, 2017. Vito Fiore will be joining in heaven his first wife, Catherine Crechiolo Fiore, his oldest son Frank Fiore and brothers Charles J, Leonard, Leonardo, and Frank Fiore. Mr. Fiore was a kind, loving and hard-working man who raised a family of nine children and built a concrete removal business from the ground-up. Mr. Fiore was born on May 1, 1935, to Gaspare Fiore and Anna-Maria Soresi of Partinico, Sicily. He married Catherine Crechiolo on September 25, 1954, at St. Martin Church in Detroit. The happy couple met at at the Dawn Ellen Bakery in Detroit that Catherine’s family owned and food has been central to their love and family life ever since. Together they raised a family of nine children. Catherine went to be with the Lord in 1993. Mr. Fiore was known for his dedication to work, in fact, he was framing investment ideas in concrete removal and equipment until his passing. He had started a concrete excavation business in 1955, which his son’s joined over time, each of them carrying forward Mr. Fiore's entrepreneurial spirit with successful businesses of their own. He also loved antique Model-T cars, western movies, and his flat cap hats. He died wearing his favorite flat cap hat. He had a deep and unconditional love for his family and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. Mr. Fiore was a loving husband to his second wife Diana Bayn-Fiore, loving father of Frank Fiore (deceased), Anna Maria DeVoll of Troy, Brigida Loukas and husband Gust of Chesterfield, Gasper Fiore of Grosse Pointe Shores, Anthony (Tony) Fiore and wife Martha of St. Clair Shores, Vito Fiore, Jr. of Chesterfield, John Fiore and wife Stephanie of Macomb, Leonardo Fiore of Sterling Heights, and Diane Pelton wife of Kip Pelton of Crestwood, KY. He was a loving grandfather to Bill and Nicole DeVoll, Jennifer Fiore, Jessica (Michael) Lucas, Kaitlyn, Vito, Jr. and Patrick Fiore, Johnny and Sarah Fiore, Christine and Anthony Fiore, Antonio Loukas and he was a loving Great-grandfather to Billy, Hanna, and Katie DeVoll and Gasper and Giasella Lucas. We will always carry Vito Fiore in our hearts and minds and never forget his strong spirit, and unconditional love. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 30, 2017, from 2:00PM – 9:00PM at Bagnasco & Calcaterra, located at 28500 Harper Saint Clair Shores, MI, 48081, and the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at 10:00AM at Christ Community Church, located at 25410 Kelly Rd. Roseville, MI 48066, with a burial ceremony at Resurrection Cemetery and luncheon to immediately follow.
