My heart breaks for Gary's family. There is no doubt in my mind that he is an angel looking over them. He was a man with a big heart and beautiful smile, who I instantly loved. I only saw him mildly upset when someone changed the TV channel during a Tiger game at Trattoria (where I work). I know a lot of people who come into the restaurant, but Pat and Gary stand out. I was in awe of them as a couple. He always called Pat...my bride. The admiration they had for each other shined through and made people want to be around them. I will miss his tight, sincere hugs and will never forget him.

Pat and Chris, Jeff, and Jenny...so sorry to hear of Gary's passing. You will all miss him very much. Gary was such a good neighbor, always a kind word and smile for us. We had a friendly competition about who would have the first ripe tomato between the fence. I don't remember the results, but the good hearted banter was always fun. You are in our prayers. The only time that I met Mr. Jensen was last summer when he was working so hard on Jen and Tim's landscaping; to think that he was sick? Not at all, what a hard worker. I'm sure he worked so hard to stay healthy all these years, great man.
