Violet Joye

Violet A. Joye, passed away June 16, 2022, age 82. Beloved wife of the late Bob. Loving mother of Kenneth (Nancy) Joye, Kathy (Carl) Mehrer, and Robert (Jan)  Joye. Dear grandmother of Christina (Wesley), Andrew (Rebecca), Lauren (fiancé Carl), Joshua (Sarah), Aaron (Chanler), Brett, and Garrett. Great-grandmother of Wesley, Cameron, Clementine, Milan, Reily, Braelynn, and Chanler. Dear sister of Rosemary (Gerry), and the late Nita. Predeceased by her parents William Henry and Mary.

Violet was a piano teacher and taught her whole life. She loved her social life and will be remember for hosting dinner and game nights. Violet and Bob traveled the world together and especially enjoyed Mexico with the family.

A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, June 20, 2022 at 9:30am at St. Blase Catholic Church, 12151 Fifteen Mile, Sterling Heights. Visitation at church begins at 9am.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Violet’s honor to the American Cancer Society.
