Rosalie Prinzi

Prinzi, Rosalie (nee Palazzolo), age 94, October 15, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Michael (d.1970) for 22 years. Dear mother of Joseph (Nancy), Angel (the late Patrick), Cardi (Lori) and Paul (Tina). Loving grandmother of Michael Lee, Laura, Michael Patrick, David, Colleen, Cardi, Alexander, William, James, the late Caden (d.2002), and Kadra. Proud great grandmother of Rosemary, Joseph, Evan, Natalie, Patrick, Wren, Penelope, Lena and Vivian. Dearest sister of June (Bart) and sister-in-law of Catherine. Preceded in death by her siblings John, Ida, Tony, Santo, Josephine and Catherine. 

Rosalie was born and raised in Detroit and attended Southeastern High School.  She lived in St. Clair Shores for over 25 years and then Clinton Township for 38 years. She proudly worked for J.L. Hudson's, Robinson Furniture, and Webster Engineering, where she was office manager and bookkeeper for 17 years. She was very active, participating in golf and bowling leagues. She also loved to play cards, especially pinochle where she played at the St. Michael’s pinochle club and Clinton Township Senior Center. Rosalie will be remembered for her love and generosity to her children and grandchildren.

Visitation Saturday, October 23 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm and Sunday 1:00pm to 8:00pm with a 7:00pm Rosary at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 13650 East 15 Mile Road in Sterling Heights. Instate Monday, October 25, 2021 at 9:00am until the time of a Funeral Mass at 9:30am at St. Michael Catholic Church, 40501 Hayes Road in Sterling Heights. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township.

Flowers, or a memorial contribution may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
