Ronald Frank Jed

Ronald F. Jed, resident of St. Clair Shores, Michigan, passed away April 9, 2022 at the age of 74. Son of Herman F. and Evaline (nee Zentarski) Jed. Loving husband of the late Catherine (nee Albu) Jed. Beloved father of Nicholas (Tracy) Jed and Ronald Jed. Cherished grandfather of Grant Jed and Luke Jed. Cherished brother of Arlene (the late Daniel) Remboski, Kenny (Vicki) Welsh. Dear son in law of the late Nicholas (the late Josephine) Albu and brother-in-law of Jerry (Sue) Albu. Treasured uncle of Kimmy, Krissy, Ashley (Chris), Joey, Nicole (Joe) and Elizabeth (Aaron).

Ronald married the love of his life, Catherine, at St. Jude Catholic Church in Detroit, Michigan in August of 1968. He went on to have two children and two grandchildren. Ron was known for his hard work as a pattern maker, and later, a layout inspector at Chrysler. He later retired in 2002 and spent his retirement spending time with his family. Ronald often visited the Frontier Hotel in Las Vegas with family and friends. As his children grew older, he passed along his love for playing keno and lotto. He also liked wrestling of any kind.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 18, 2022 between 2:00 PM and 9:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at Bagnasco and Calcaterra Funeral Home at 25800 Harper Avenue St. Clair Shores, MI 48081.

A funeral mass will be held for Ronald at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 22412 Overlake Street, St Clair Shores, MI 48080 on Tuesday, April 19, 2022. In-state at 9:30 AM with a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. 

Ronald will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township, Michigan.
