Richard Dominic Thomas

Richard Dominic Thomas, beloved son of Richard A. and Lorraine Thomas, peacefully departed from this world on April 5, 2024, at the age of 48.

He is survived by his dear siblings, Cindy (Ronald) Giovannone of Ohio and Paul (Jessica) Thomas of Arizona. Richard was a cherished uncle to Alex, Armand, and Jared Giovannone, and Anthony and Grace Thomas. He was preceded in death by his sister, Laura Ann Thomas.

Born on February 21, 1976, in Warren. Richard grew up in Sterling Heights, Michigan, and graduated from Stevenson High School in 1994. In his youth, he worked with his Uncle Pat DiFalco at the gas station at 15 Mile and Dodge Park, also as an Installer at Mickey Shores, and later ventured into the trucking industry as a proud Truck Owner for S&D Trucking with his uncle Sam DiFalco.

Throughout his life, Richard found solace and joy in his passions. He shared a deep love for boating and fishing. His faith was a cornerstone of his existence, and he was a dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ where he was baptized on January 9, 1994.

Friends and family will gather to honor Richard's memory during a Memorial Visitation on April 15, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a Service at 6:00 pm at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, located at 13650 E. Fifteen Mile Rd., Sterling Heights.

In Richard's remembrance, may we find comfort in the cherished moments shared, the love given, and the legacy of kindness he leaves behind. May his memory continue to brighten the lives of those who knew and loved him.
