Richard D. Pfouts

Pfouts, Richard D., age 71, June 5, 2019. Beloved husband of Esther for 49 years. Dear father of Jennifer (Don) Marsack, Vanessa Heimer, and Brian. Proud grandfather of Christopher, Renee, Steven, Seth, Brandon, Isabella and Lillianna. Dearest brother of Don (Renee) and Brenda Walsh. Loving uncle of Kirk, Brad, Nathan and great uncle of Reese. Richard proudly served in the US Navy for 21 years. He wed the love of his life, Esther, on September 20, 1969 at East Side Assembly of God in Warren. He was quickly relocated for 6 months in California and when he returned, he and his new bride honeymooned in Disneyland. Together, they settle in their first home in Norfolk, Virginia. After serving our country, Richard began work at AT&T Advanced Technology followed by Detroit Edison from which he retired. He loved photography, golf and traveling, but above all, his family. Visitation will take place Saturday, June 8 from 2pm to 8pm with a Funeral Service at 6pm at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 13650 E. 15 Mile Road in Sterling Heights. Interment will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery, in Holly. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
