Beloved husband of the late Stephanie (Kuczynski) Krus. Loving father of the late Deborah Ann, Richard (Anne), Mark (Debra), Gary (Nancy), and Brian (Sandy). Proud grandfather of Nick (Katie), Richard (Amanda), Alyse (Craig), Kim (TJ), Amanda (Ryan), Andrea, Brianna, Merry, Austin. Great grandfather of 12. Dear brother of Walter (late Laura), late Geraldine (late Jim), and the late Marlene (Bill). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Dick spent his childhood in Detroit. He served in the U.S. Army (Korean War). He married Stephanie May 31, 1954. He retired from Stroh Brewery in Detroit - Area Manager. Dick enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, going on trips and playing cards. He passed away peacefully at Shelby Manor, Shelby Township.

A Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, October 24, 2020, instate at 9:00 AM until time of Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Blase Catholic Church, 12151 Fifteen Mile Road, Sterling Heights, MI 48312. Inurnment at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, MI.
