Preston William Hawkyard

Hawkyard, Preston W., age 78, May 5, 2021. Beloved husband of Sharon for 45 years. Dear father of Spencer and the late Dustin. Proud grandfather of Jacob, Shane and Amelia. He was preceded in death by his siblings Tonya and Barry and is loved and missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins and many good friends. Preston proudly served in the United States Marines during the Cuban Missile Crisis as part of the American blockade. He was stationed in Okinawa, Japan and Camp Pendleton in California. He loved watching Gordie Howe play hockey and Graham Hill in Formula 1 racing. Some of his fondest memories were from his youth staying with his grandparents in Jeddo.

Visitation Friday, May 14, 2021 from 4pm to 8pm and Saturday 10am until the time of a Funeral Service at 11am at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 13650 East 15 Mile Road in Sterling Heights.

Due to the Covid 19 Pandemic and Governor's Orders face masks must be worn and proper social distancing is required.
