Genovese, Nicolo “Sam,” age 85, December 4, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Francesca. Loving father of Salvatore, Pietro (Margaret), Filippa (David) Mammel, Giacomo (Erin), and Annamaria. Proud Nonno of 11. Survived by sister Susanna Genovese. Dear friend of Nina Fazzolari. Sam was an active member in the Italian American community, was a Past-President of the Federazione Siciliana del Michigan and two time Vice-President of the Columbus Day Celebration Committee. Visitation Thursday, December 6 from 2-9pm with 7pm Rosary at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 13650 E. 15 Mile Rd., Sterling Heights. Instate Friday 9:30am until time of Mass 10 at St. Therese of Lisieux, 48115 Schoenherr Rd., Shelby Twp. Entombment at Resurrection Cemetery.
