Michael James Van Denheede

Michael James Vandenheede, 54, passed away suddenly on September 8, 2023. Living with the challenges of autism, Michael was a man of few words but was clear in expressessing his likes and dislikes. He found comfort in his home and enjoyed attending his vocational day program.

Predeceased by his loving mother, Petrina, and aunt, Joann, he will be deeply missed by his twin brother, Mark, and younger brother, Dino, and a circle of caregivers who also became part of his life.

A private service will be held at Mount Olivet Cemetery. The family is grateful for your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Autism Speaks, an organization focused on supporting research and advocacy for individuals with autism and their families.
