Mercedes Hawthorne known by many as DeeDee, age 52 passed away on April 30, 2022. She was the beautiful daughter of the late Frank James and Emogene Hawthorne.
Mercedes was a loving mother to Portia, Alante, Delorean, Lexus and Justin; the coolest grandma ever to Aniyah, Aubrey, Kyrie and Kobie; and, a loving companion to Juan.
Mercedes was passionate about life and loved spending her days socializing with close family and friends. Mercedes spent most of her career working at Chrysler where she was befriended by many. She will truly be missed and she will be loved forever.
A Memorial service will be held on Monday, May 9, 2022 from 11am to 1pm at Triumph Baptist Church Flowers can be sent to their North Campus located at:
