Leroy Schroeder

Roy K. Schroeder, passed away May 13, 2022 at age 74. Beloved husband of the late Susan since April 9, 1972. Loving father of Erica (Marco) DiCosmo, Joel (Jessica) Schroeder and Weston (Melissa) Schroeder. Dear grandfather of Caterina, Gabriella, Austin, Kurston, Aleyna, Kayla and Shane. Brother of Don (Sharon) Schroeder, Barb (Tom) Hill, Joy (Mark) Bucci, Mike (Christie) Schroeder, the late John (Ruth) Schroeder and Jerry (Rita) Schroeder


Roy retired after working 40 years for Chrysler at the Sterling Heights Stamping Plant. He loved to play cards, especially euchre and pinochle. In his spare time fascinated with cars and would attend races and demolition derby shows. After retirement he and Susan spent their time traveling and staying in the cabin up north. Most of all, Roy loved being with his family.

Visitation at the Sterling Heights Chapel of the Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 13650 East 15 Mile Road, Wednesday, May 18, 2022 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral Service Friday, May 20, 2022 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, Michigan.
