Loving wife of Richard Johnston . Beloved mother of Charles Johnston (Missy), Douglas Johnston, Scott Johnston. Daughter in Law of Betty Simon. Step grandmother to Logan Worthy. Sister of Judy Burkhardt (Peter) and Jerry Cardani (Jacque). Very special aunt to five nieces and four nephews. Dearest great aunt to many. Many long time special cousins and friends.

Joann was a long time ultrasound sonographer.

A visitation will be held on Monday, August 8, 2022 at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 25800 Harper Aveune, St. Clair Shores, MI 48081 from 2:00pm until 9:00pm, with a Prayer Service at 7:00pm. The Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 22412 Overlake, St. Clair Shores, MI 48080 with an Instate starting at 11:00am until the time of Mass at 12:00pm.
