Guglielmo “Bill” Antonio Commisso, born in Locri, Italy April 6, 1945 and passed away April 16, 2022 in Clinton Township, MI.
Beloved brother of Rose Vitale, Ettore Commisso, Adelaide Smith (Gary), Mary Kraft (Dan), and Lina Bowman. Dear uncle of Michele (Ron), Valerie (Colleen), Rodney (Deanna), Adam, Mark, Ryan (Erin), Adrianne (Will), Christina (Tom), and Derek. Great-uncle of Max and Ian.
Growing up, he loved swimming in the Ionic Sea with his family.

Bill came to Detroit with his father when he was 17 years old. He loved his job and was the President of Starlite Restaurant Equipment Manufacturing Company which he owned with his siblings.

In his spare time he loved watching soccer on the Italian RAI station. He has many fond memories playing soccer in Italy and in Michigan.

Bill was a long time member of San Francesco Catholic Church where he developed a special relationship with Fr. Giulio Schiavi. He spent much of his time volunteering for church functions and helping the Orphans Club Pancake Breakfasts.

Visitation at the Sterling Heights Chapel of the Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 13650 East 15 Mile Road, Wednesday, April 20, 2022 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm.

Funeral Mass Thursday, April 21, 2022 at San Francesco Catholic Church, 22870 South Nunneley Road, Clinton Township at 10:00 am with Instate beginning at 9:30 am.

In lieu of flowers, donations made to San Francesco Catholic Church would be appreciated by the family.
