Gerald "Jerry" Roy Watson II

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jerry Watson, who departed from this world on April 7, 2024, at the age of 66. Jerry was a cherished fiancé, devoted father, beloved grandfather, and proud great-grandfather. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

Jerry will forever be remembered as the beloved fiancé of Linda Thom, a relationship filled with devotion and companionship. As a father, Jerry was a pillar of strength and guidance to his daughter Jessica (Rey) Peltier. His love extended to his grandchildren, Evan (Kari) Koval, and through them, he found joy in the role of a proud great-grandfather to Cole and Greyson.

Born to Gerald R. and the late Autumn, Jerry was a dear son and a brother to Michael (Rebecca), Darlynn Huneke, and Karen (Sean Haarsager) Watson. His family meant everything to him, and he cherished the bonds they shared.

Jerry's zest for life was evident in his passions. He found solace in gardening, thrived in the thrill of hunting, and felt at peace by the waterside while fishing. His connection to nature was profound, evidenced by his love for collecting butterflies and the companionship he found in his pet parrot, Mojo.

Above all, Jerry had a remarkable gift for storytelling. His anecdotes were filled with warmth, humor, and wisdom, captivating all who listened. He had an infectious spirit and a genuine love for people, which made him a cherished friend to many.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation on Friday, April 12th, from 2 pm to 8 pm, and on Saturday from 1 pm until the time of the Funeral Service at 5 pm at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home located at 13650 Fifteen Mile Road in Sterling Heights. Jerry's legacy will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for his kindness, laughter, and unwavering love for life.
