Gene Grilli

Gene E. Grilli passed away on October 2, 2021 age 55. Predeceased by his beloved wife Kathleen (Wojcik). He is survived by his children Joseph, Nichole, Timothy and Nathan. He was born January 6, 1966, son of Karen and the late Eugene. He is survived by his brother Gary, sister Lori (McCormick), mother-in-law Elaine Wojcik, as well as many extended family, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Gene’s marriage of twenty-six years to his true love began on March 16, 1991 in Michigan and they eventually moved to Texas where they fell in love with the Lone Star state. Kathleen passed away on December 21, 2017.

Gene was a Petty Officer First Class serving in the Navy from 1984-1993. Starting a new career with Uson in 1994 where he quickly became a known expert in the Leak Testing field. Gene took on more responsibility at the corporate level and they moved their family to Spring, Texas in 2012. In 2019, he joined the Marposs team in Michigan. He was an avid reader and enjoyed bike riding on Belle Isle and the Detroit Riverfront exploring the city for new venues. As his career took him on many international travels, Texas was his known his favorite.

A memorial service will be held at Prince of Glory 1357 W. 14 Mile Rd Madison Heights, MI 48071 on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 11am, followed by a celebration of life with family & friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to his memory to Prince of Glory Church.
