Tribute

Fred Orlando lived a life full of love, and absent of regret. Alongside his late wife, Toni, they lovingly raised their four boys; Tony (Sheri), Frank (Meghann), Mike (Abby), and Freddy (Allison) in St. Clair Shores, Michigan.

Fred loved to write his own rules and used his inventive instincts to provide for his family in his careers as a 7-11 store owner and landlord, where he not only forged opportunities for his family—but for countless others.

Whether carrying on the tradition of Sunday dinners alongside his loving companion, Dona, or his second-to-none adoration for his 8 grandchildren; James, Maria, Katelyn, Lola, Nicholas, Freddy, Enzo and Rosie—family was everything to Fred—and “Big” Fred was everything to them.

The only thing Fred loved more than a good deal, was a great vacation—poolside, under the hot sun among his family and friends was where he was happiest.

Both in business and in health, Fred defied odds, followed his instinct and successfully lived life his way.
