Frank R. Simone

Simone, Frank, age 76, passed away suddenly surrounded by his family on November 26, 2021. Beloved husband of Angela. Devoted father of Louise (David) Gwozdz and Cynthia (Philip) DeFord. Proud grandfather of Marissa Gwozdz and Piper DeFord. Dear brother of Regina (Phillip) Shibley and brother in law of Bert Mastronardi. Preceded in death by his parents Albert and Madeline, brother George and sisters Elvira (the late Frank) Bizzocchi and Rosalie Mastronardi. He is loved and missed by his many nieces and nephews.
Frank was the Treasurer and Chairman of the Board of the B&BS Gun Club, past President and committee member of the Bariscianotti Club. He was the organizer of the Tuesday Golf Group. Frank proudly served in the United States Army. He was proud of his Italian heritage and loved being everyone’s handyman. Family and friends meant everything to him especially his granddaughters.
Visitation Thursday, December 2, 2021 from 3pm to 9pm with a 7pm Prayer Service at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 13650 East 15 Mile Road in Sterling Heights. Instate Friday 9:30am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10am at St. Isidore Catholic Church, 18201 23 Mile Road in Macomb. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
