Francis Anthony Moceri, aged 66, passed away on April 14, 2022, with his wife by his side. Frank was born on May 30, 1955, to the late Francesco and Josephine (Aluia) Moceri.
Frank and his Servite High School sweetheart, Patricia Ann Stone, were married on June 16, 1977. Frank retired from Sherwood Foods having worked there for 40 years. He was a hard worker, a great co-worker, and a fair leader. He was an outgoing person who had friends wherever he went and suffered no fools. Frank was a loving family man who cherished the time he spent with them. Frank had an adventurous spirit, loved to travel, and ride his bike often. After he retired, Frank volunteered for Leader Dogs for the Blind and delivered Meals on Wheels in Detroit. Frank will be overwhelmingly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife Pat Moceri (Stone) his son Joshua Moceri (partner Katy Jensen) grandson Oscar Francesco Moceri, and daughter Rachel Moceri. Beloved brother of Stephanie (Daniel) Houghton, Josephine Moceri, and late brother Salvatore Moceri, along with his treasured Brother in Law Frederick (Michelle) Stone. He was a proud Uncle and Godfather of many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be notified of the celebration of Frank’s life this upcoming June. Per Frank’s wishes there will be a park bench at Metropolitan Beach bike trail in his name.
