Filippa Ancona

Filippa aka Phyllis (Valenti) Ancona, born November 16, 1928 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Giovanni & Giovannia (Basile) Valenti passed away Saturday, March 23,2024.

Filippa leaves behind her children; Jennie (David) Lince, Gasper (Barbara) Ancona, and John (Barbara) Ancona; grandchildren Nicole (Terry) Daughtery, Jeff (Michelle) Lince, Lisa Ancona, Brian Ancona, and Matt Ancona.

Filippa is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Biagio Ancona, son in law David Lince, and great grandson Andrew Lince.

Filippa will be remembered fondly by her friends and loved ones for her delicious pizza making skills, her love of flowers, and her unconditional love for those close to her heart.

Visitation is Wednesday Marach 27, 2024 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Bagnasco Calcaterra Funeral Home 13650 E. 15 Mile Road, Sterling Heights, MI 48312.

Funeral Service is Thursday March 28, 2024 at 11:30 am at Bagnasco Calcaterra Funeral Home 13650 E. 15 Mile Road, Sterling Heights, MI 48312. Burial to follow at 12:30 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery 17100 Van Dyke Ave, Detroit, MI 48234 .
