Elena Trupiano

Elena Trupiano, age 84, formerly of Roseville, died peacefully on February 1, 2021 at home in Sterling Heights, MI. She was born June 18, 1936, in Guardia Piemontese Italy to Francesco and Carmela Folino, where she married Gaetano “Tony” and moved to Michigan in 1963. She enjoyed housekeeping and playing games with her family. She loved her friends and family and will be greatly missed.
Elena is the beloved mother of Rosina (the late Dave) Trupiano Channell, Carmela (Dennis) McDermott, Sebastiano (Shawna) Trupiano, and Francesco Trupiano. She is survived by eight grandchildren; two brothers, Giuseppe (Ann) and Carmelo (Elaine). She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers Vincenzo (Lucy) and Dominico (the late Tina), and her parents.
Visitation Thursday, February 4 from 2–9pm with a 7pm Rosary at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 13650 East 15 Mile Road, Sterling Heights, MI 48312. Mass Friday, 10am at St. Margaret of Scotland, 21201 E. 13 Mile Road, St. Clair Shores.
Interment will be in Cadillac Memorial Gardens East, 38425 Garfield Road, Clinton Township, MI 48038. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
