Duane Blanken

Duane Robert Blanken a.k.a Buck, age 36 of Detroit, Michigan tragically passed away on June 27th, 2022. Duane Blanken is survived his mother, Tracy Oshinsky and his father, Larry Blanken as well as 5 siblings, Krystal, Nathan, Mikie, Caitlin and Lily. As a child, Buck loved to swim, skateboard, play drums, and play outside with his friends. Buck is known for his sweet and funny personality as well as his dramatic stories. Although we lost this Angel very unexpectedly, we are honored to announce that Buck was an organ donor and he was able to save 4 lives with his organ donations. This a testament to Buck’s gracious heart. The viewing and funeral service will be held at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home: Sterling Heights Chapel 13650 E. 15 Mile Rd Sterling Height’s, MI 48312. A viewing will be open to family and friends on Friday July 1st from 3-8pm and the funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 2nd promptly at 10am although we encourage arrivals at 9am. Come celebrate the life and mourn the loss of Buck Blanken.
