Miller, Donald R., age 78, August 4, 2022. Beloved husband of Juanita for almost 54 years. Dear father of Kara Elzokm, Aaron Donald (Nina) Caruso and Andrew Donald Miller. Proud grandfather of Zayd, Aiden, Aimen, Sofia and Laila. Survived by his brothers Gerald (the late Judith) and Larry (the late Joyce). Dear uncle of Renee (Michael) Curatolo, David Miller and the late David, Richard and Jennifer Gustafson.

Donald had a fun spirit and brought smiles to everyone he encountered. He was a devoted and faithful husband and father. He had a special devotion to his son, Andrew, whom he lovingly cared for daily. Like St. Francis, Donald also had a special affinity for animals, often bringing home strays and caring for them, as well as his own pets. He was a true family man and will be sorely missed by his friends and family.

Visitation at the Sterling Heights Chapel of the Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 13650 East 15 Mile Road, Sunday August 7, 2022 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Mass, Monday, August 8, 2022 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 54045 Schoenherr Road, Shelby Township, MI 48315, Instate at 9:30 AM until time of Mass at 10:00 AM.
