David Joseph Bott

Bott, David Joseph, passed away after a lengthy illness on November 26, 2022, age 70. Loving husband of Lorri. Loving father of daughter Emily, Tanya (Derek), Josh (deceased) and Luke. Proud Papa of Joshua and Suzette “Q”. Dear brother of Christine (Bruce), the late Bob (Janet), Colleen (Chuck) and Patrick (Karen). Predeceased by his parents Robert and Pat Bott. Survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

David served in the Vietnam War from 1972 until 1975. Prior to retirement he worked as a quality assurance engineer. He was an avid hunter, skilled woodworker and enjoyed being a seasonal camper with his wife up north. He was very passionate with whatever he made and this is how he lived his life. The heart of David will truly be missed.

Service will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 1:30 pm at Great Lakes National Cemetery with Military Honors, 4200 Belford Road, Holly, MI 48442.
