C.M. Abraham

C. M.  Abraham (Babychayan) Detroit, Michigan was called Home to glory on February 5, 2020, after completing 85 years of life. He was born on January 21st, 1935 to K.A.Mathai and Saramma Mathai in Kerala, India. He was the eldest of ten children. He was called Babychayan affectionately by family and friends. After graduating from High school, he spent greater part of his life in Dalli Rajhara, Chattisgarh, India. After retirement from Bhilai Steel Plant, he emigrated to United States in 1993. He worked for Combine International from 1993 to 2009.
He was a man of great faith in God. Lord Jesus Christ became his Savior at the age of 12. St. Thomas Evangelical Church was his home assembly for all his Dalli Rajhara years and then Martin Road Gospel Chapel became home until God thought it good to call him to his eternal home.
He is survived by his beloved wife Saramma Abraham. Dear father of Lizy & P.K. Kuruvilla, Lainy Jose & Jose C. Mathai, Matthew (Leju) & Susan Abraham. Proud grandfather of the late Kevin Kuruvilla, Neha Kuruvilla, Jeffin Jose Mathai, Nathan Abraham and Kristen Abraham.
Funeral Service Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 10am at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 13650 E. 15 Mile Road, Sterling Heights. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township.
