Barbara Ann Snyder

Barbara Ann Snyder, age 80, of Clinton Twp, Michigan passed away, surrounded by her family, on October 21, 2023 after a very brief, but sudden illness.

Barbara was married to the love of her life Henry (Hank) for 41 years, until his passing in 2003.  She was a wonderful mother to four children, Ken and his wife Vicky, Mike and his wife Julie, Gerry and his wife Stephanie, and Wendy and her partner Dawn; the loving grandmother of Rebekah and her husband Tom (Cox), Isabel, Raymond, Jessica and her husband Eric (Hessell), Kassandra, Ericka, Ryan, and Trevor; and great grandmother to Colton, Allie, Bryce, and Frankie. She was the daughter of Edward and Dorothy Biretta (both deceased), also a loving sister to Gary (deceased), Donna and her husband Sam (Ventimiglia), Eric and his wife Mara (Biretta), Marilyn and her husband Mark (McDermond), and Christine and her husband Jeremy (Wilkinson).  Her heart also overflowed with affection for her fur babies Daisy (who passed) and Charlie.

She always lived life to the fullest, loved to spend time with family and friends and never looked her age. She had a sharp wit, infectious laugh, and was a great storyteller. She was an avid reader, loved to draw and paint, and enjoyed wearing clothing and jewelry that were as bright and colorful as she was.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 26th from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 13650 15 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48312. Funeral will be held Friday, October 27th at 1:00 pm at St Matthias Church, 12311 19 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48312.

Instead of sending flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Barbara’s name.
