Alice M. Abraham

Alice M. Abraham (née Conforti), age 64, passed away peacefully in her home on July 7th, 2020.

Alice earned an Associate Degree in Nursing from Macomb Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Detroit Mercy. Alice was passionate about the nursing profession, working as a floor nurse before becoming a nursing supervisor at the former St. Joseph’s Mercy hospital in Clinton Township. She was an intelligent, compassionate, and devoted caregiver who touched many lives.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Emilia (Puzzuoli) and her father, Ernest Conforti. Alice is survived by her husband, Mark, son, James (Annie), and daughter, Gina (Chuck) Griggs. She is also survived by the three granddaughters she adored: Anna, Amelia, and Alivia Griggs.

She will be greatly missed and remembered fondly by all who knew her. If so moved, please donate in Alice’s name to the Dementia Society of America.
