Kathleen Marie Vereecke

In loving memory of Kathleen M. Vereecke, age 68, who peacefully passed away on March 21, 2024.

Kathy was a devoted mother to Ben (Ashley) Vereecke and Natalie Vereecke, who she loved more than anything in life. She took great pride in her role as Babcia to Hannah and Hudson. Kathy was also a dear sister to Deb Kowalski, Marion Kowalski, and Michael (Carolyn) Kowalski. She leaves behind several nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends, all of whom were touched by her kindness and warmth.

Kathy was preceded in death by her adored parents, Marion and Hattie Kowalski.

Beyond her immediate family, Kathy was also known as Paw-ma to Milo and Riley and Great Paw-ma to Alfie, Artemis, Peyton, and Dawson. Her love and affection knew no bounds, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm, with a Rosary at 6:00 pm at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, located at 25800 Harper Avenue (3 blocks North of 10 Mile, on East side of Street).

A Funeral Mass to honor Kathy's life will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, with instate beginning at 9:30 am until the time of mass at 10:00 am at St. Veronica Catholic Church, 21440 Universal Ave., Eastpointe, MI.

Kathy's legacy of love and compassion will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched. May she rest in eternal peace.
