Grandpa you will be forever missed. I remember all the wonderful time we had playing in the lake at your house, you teaching me to drive, you taking me to dance class and play cards with grandma. We were so blessed that you and grandma lived in Houston. Which gave us lots of time to spend with the two of you.. I am so sad I could not come see you or come on Wednesday but I know baby Crain will have another angle watch over him or her. Thank you so much for being a wonderful grandfather. Love Laura Crain.

Joe Lisy was a beautiful person; he made all of us awesome family tree books with many family photos and everyone was included; he was very welcoming and very peaceful and appreciative of any little thing anyone gave him or any support or attention anyone showed him; he was a peacemaker and a peaceful person, a very talented artist and a very brave soul to have defected from the Chec/Nazi army into the USA Army when he was only about 19 yrs. old. I'm happy that he is now at home with Jesus Christ, enjoying heaven. God bless him and give him eternal peace and joy in Jesus Christ. My family will miss you Joe. Grandpa Joe was very loved by our little family. Even though Pat and I, Jessica, only met him a couple times we immediately felt loved and welcomed by him. Tony also loved him very much. We will miss him dearly. May he rest in peace and watch over our whole family.
