John Walter McCormick

John Walter McCormick (Mac) age 87 passed away on Monday July, 3 peacefully in his home. Born in Mt Pleasant Tennessee, he was the Beloved husband of the late Josephine (Ruggirello). He also was a wonderful and loving father to Michael, Maria, Sheri & Jeff as well as Fur dad to his constant companions Molly & Yager.
It can be said there was no power on earth that was stronger than his love for his family & friends. They meant everything to him.
He retired from SBC-AT&T after 36 years of service. He was a 32nd degree Mason, a Veteran of the U.S Army & Michigan National Guard, and a member of VFW, American legion, the 107th Engineer Association, Elks, and the Sterling Heights Cultural Commission.
We invite you for a celebration of his life on Friday, July 14, 2017 at Baganasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, Saint Clair Shores, with a gathering of family and friends from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and the memorial service to honor Mac’s life at 2:00 p.m. A private enurnment will take place at a later date.
