  • Katie Ahee: Grandma,

I know we didn't have much time together, but the time we did have was so special. You were such a great woman who loved her family so much. And although, I often had trouble communicating with you, you always made a point to tell me "love you" I will never forget what you said the day Anthony and I got engaged, "I hope I am still alive to be there." It breaks my heart every time I think about it. I am relieved to know you are no longer suffering, and I know you will be with us on our special day, just not in the way we all hoped you would be. The pain of losing you will never go away. We will always miss you and love you. May you rest in peace now and forever.

  • Rosa Di Cicco: Gemmina you were one of the kindest women I knew. I'm sorry I never got the chance to come over so you could show me how to make your famous mosticotti cookies. You will surely be missed by all of us. Rest in peace.

  • David DiCicco: Mom you were one of the kindest, wisest, most thoughtful person I've ever known.
Losing you is probably one of the most painful losses ever. But we are sure that you are still with us, and will be for the rest of our days.

  • Chris Rubino: Grandma,

Who is going to yell at me for swearing in Italian? Who is going to yell at me for showing up at 2pm to cut her grass on a Saturday instead of 10am? Who is going to pinch my cheeks for making fun of her in English thinking she didn't understand a word I said? Who is going to throw the pillow at me for breaking her christmas village, her eagle statue, Bob and Dave's pool table, the foosball table, and whatever else I broke in your house? And most importantly, who is going to make me prosciutto? I love you more than you can imagine and can't believe you are gone from our lives. I am happy that the suffering has ended for you.......and you and Grandpa can finally live together in eternal happiness. We know he has been waiting for this day when he can be with you again. We already miss you dearly and will never forget what you did for our family. I love you grandma......
